Opening Chests causes insane Lag.

Each time I open one of the big chests or loot a certain enemy my FPS drops to 1 and it lags for a very short time extremely...

Is this a known issue?
OS: Win 11
Processor: i9-13800kf
RAM: 64 Gigabyte RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 4090
HDD: 4 TB SSD M.2
Ive seen others meantion this same things....

What comes to mind is memory....how much do you have?
OS: WinXP SP2 32bit
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Ram : 4GB Kingston PC2-6400 5-5-5-18
Mobo: Abit KN9-Sli (NF570-Sli chipset with Realtek Audio)
GPU: ATI HD4670 1GB
HD: Maxtor 20GB - OS - Seagate 500GB - Games / Storage / PageFile
Network / ISP: Wired / Cox Cable
I'm using an older comp and I believe the delay is due to processor speed. I get the same stall when opening a large chest or killing a "Wealth" enemy. It's processing a large number of items all at once.

I get a similar delay when opening the armor/weapon vendors or a stash page fuilled of tiny items like gems. Personally I don't mind it since I know that's just part of the package with using a old machine.
I have a Dual Core 3 GHZ AMD Athlon X250 Phenom 2.... so yeah... shouldn't be a problem.

My memory is 4 Gigabyte of RAM.

Mind using SPECCY and posting all of your hardware specs, it also includes things like TEMPS...

Looks like this:

Your Speccy shows ALOT of background tasks / Services that are not needed but are holding resources.

Your 12v rail is pulling at 11.7 which is getting dangerously low, IMO.

Im curious, if you dont mind trying this....

Right click the ICON, goto Properties, in the targetbox:

"D:\Speile\Path of Exile\Client.exe" --nosound

What should I do against the 12 V rail thing?

Monitor this...this is critical to the whole system remaining stable including the motherboard and GPU.

Most PSU's have some variance above and below, but if it goes to low its a sign that PSU is bad / poorly made / overheating / gotten old.

Hm, I have a adapter for my 4-pin GTX550 Ti slot, maybe thats the problem? its only temporary, in 3 or 4 days I planned to buy a better energy supply.
