you can put people on ignore on ggg's trade site.
or you pay the price the guy asks for. means: you have to ask him for the real price he wants. if the item is so rare that he can buy off many of them to keep the prices up, the higher price should be ok. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! You can either fill up your ignore list or start to haggle for something that has a set price. What a fcked up trade design favoring scammers, price fixers and bots.
Doesn't matter if you paint a shitty car with new paint every 3 months and add some new gadgets. If the engine sucks, it's a shitty car every 3 months all the same. 1) Screen-wide clearing is boring, a bot can play that way. 2) Player power is too high and too fast. Week 1 of each league. 3) I feel over-stimulated, can't see shit on the screen and struggle to find any meaning in blasting maps by 1-button screen clears. 4) Bosses die under 10sec. Pointless. Agree that implementation of some sort of mechanism that would fuck with those people who buy only to resell at higher price would be highly appreciated.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

You can collapse listings by account, which helps you avoid having to whisper one guy multiple times.

" a bidding system provided by an NPC will solve much of the current problems say: step 1: seller configures the currency he is willing to accept and at which rate. as an example he accept exalts, chaos and fuses at an exchange rate of 1 exalt = "x" chaos and "y" fuses this configuration will have the option to save exchange rates for future use step 2: seller place the item and a base cost say 10 chaos step 3: confirmation step 4: item will be displayed in trade, once someone put an initial offer equal or higher than the base a timer of 1 minute will start displaying the new base cost, if no one else put a bid then item and currency goes to a remove only tab of each player and if someone else put a higher bid timer will be set to 20 secs aditional conditions seller can cancel the bid and retrive the item at any time before the trade is made but he will have to pay a % of the last bid made to the player that made it. In case no one made a bid the seller will have to pay a lower % to the NPC this should solve most of poe trading problems: since trade is automatic people wont be able to put items for sale and then ignore the offers. sniping bots will compete with each other preventing them from buying low to later on resell the item at a higher value and the 20 secs window will give humans a chance to participate. give players a better idea of the real price of an item. sellers not using bots will no longer have to waste portals to make a trade of course nothing i put here is new to trading in online games or complicate to program so i guess GGG already know all this and just refuse to give us a proper trading tool. self found league fan http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/324242/page/1 Last edited by caboom#7201 on Jun 28, 2022, 8:09:33 AM

I know it would not be possible with the current ToS, but what about some reputation system like TFT has?
being able to add some vouch after "successful" trade that the specific person is responsive enough to trade, and having some bar meter for positivity. Of course there would be limit how many times you can up somebody, to avoid bots pushing specific monopolizers. Even with something like "person closed trade recently" I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |
