General Discussion - New Atlas tree and multiple accounts. - Forum

Hi Guys I am looking to the new atlas tree and I wonder if having multiple accounts will be beneficial or even more efficient than just having one. As an example I could have one alt account specialized on essences sharing a guild bank with my main account and opening the maps there while running them on my main account. And on my main account I can have a boss tree or something else. This can be done by following the TOS by having a side computer since the only thing I would need to do is open the maps on the other account right? They endorsed using multiple accounts for storing stuff if you couldn't buy stash tabs. So, as long as you don't break other rules, running multiple accounts isn't against the rules at all. Don't automate. Don't slave one account to act on the actions of the other (like an auto-follow routine). One server action per click. Then running multiple accounts at the same time is perfectly ok. Pretty sure you don't even need a side computer. You can get your computer to run two instances of the same client. They said on the past that multiple instances on the same pc even with a VM is not ok but I am ok using a side computer since the only thing you need to do on the alt account is just open the map. Think you've confused what they said. But I could be wrong. There are things you can't do with two accounts, and you might have been reading about those and attached the idea of playing on a single machine as being the deciding factor.
