Question about Awakener's Orb and Item Level

Let's say I have these items:

A
iLvl 85 with Redeemer suffix

B
iLvl 83 with Warlord prefix and enchantment


Can I use Awakener's orb on A then B, and retain the Redeemer suffix along with the prefix and enchantment on B? Does iLvl on the final item matter?

ilvl on the final item does not matter for the 'donor' mod. it does matter for the random mods the rare item will get.

this league. they are ilvl 72 (or whatever was needed for culling). the shaper mod 'level 20 faster casting' is an ilvl 85 mod, from my donor item.

I wanted the lowest ilvl i could, to block other warlord mods, giving me a better chance to hit life or spell damage. didnt hit, but my item is still just fine.

Thanks for replying! I'm just interested in the 2 mods so the random mods don't matter that much.

it doesnt matter but assumin the item will brick and will be other garbage mods u might want to reroll that doublee influenced items with essences or fossils, and then ilevel will matter, so i dont recomend it

Hey thanks for bringing this up. Haven't thought about this - was hoping for the best outcome. But yeah... RNG. :(
