Minions go poof when I add a specific jewel.

Problem: I just purchased an abyss jewel (stats below) into the slot next to Quick Recovery. As long as I have it socketed, all summons but spectres, so skeletons, stone golem, and animate guardian immediately desummon (or die?). If I take out the abyss jewel, I can summon them. Well, except for my Animate Guardian, because apparently this problem killed him. The minions never fire a shot and it happens regardless of whether I'm in hideout or a map.

Something happened earlier before I even got this jewel when I was creating my first AG and he poof'ed on me just as soon as I'd gotten the last piece of gear on him, so I'm not sure the bug is related to just the jewel. I didn't have any other minions at the time, and didn't think to try summoning anything else at the time.

This isn't a tech issue.

Fleshcrafter - it's a thing that does stuff.
"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!"
I get that Fleshcrafter could cause something like this. But how do the summons inherit that much chaos resistance that it could cause this?
20% (base) + 27% (Grave Intentions on amulet) + 10% (Jewel) = 57%
