Infinite loop on login page on Firefox
The browser ends up in an infinite loop if we try to log in into the website with the resist fingerprint setting enabled on firefox (infinite loop on Cloudflare validation page). I'm not sure exactly when this started but this is a very recent change, I've never had issues using the website before, with those same settings/browser.
Turning the setting off is not a solution since it instantly gives access to all the things it protects against to all active tabs, so the only way to log into the website without compromising security is currently to use a different browser just for pathofexile.com, which is extremely inconvenient. To reproduce: use firefox, go to about:config, set privacy.resistFingerprinting to true, try getting to login screen, get stuck in infinite loop. (edit: this has been moved to tech support, but there's no need for tech support, that's a bug on website and/or cloudflare side, sending the client on infinite loops can't be the intended behaviour) Last edited by Nabeshin4#5691 on Oct 11, 2021, 4:19:27 AM Last bumped on Oct 12, 2021, 7:16:27 PM

This appears to be specific to Cloudflare.

I don't know how much control you guys have over your Cloudflare settings levels, but I routinely get stuck in infinite loops on the login page for pathofexile.com that I simply do not get with any other websites.
And I'm assuming a lot of them are Cloudflare DDoS protected, and plenty require logins, but they don't do the infinite loop thing. Semi-OT because I'm not using firefox anti-fingerprinting, but I am using similar privacy oriented settings. Last edited by Lakh#0167 on Oct 12, 2021, 7:46:18 PM
