curse blasphemy aura and arrogance life reservation (bug or intention?)

I'm unsure if something about this has been posted before. Tried my best to search around and haven't seen a thread talking about this exact issue.
Also, I doubt this is really a bug (although it might be) and it's probably more a question of what's intended.

In my helmet, I have enfeeble, temp chains, blasphemy, and arrogance.
Previously, before blood magic support was split into two different gems, I was using blood magic support instead of arrogance and that worked perfectly fine.
Now with the arrogance gem, when my mana is heavily reserved, it's possible to not have enough mana to enable my curse auras which reserve life because arrogance only converts the reservation but not the cost and their cost must be paid to turn them on even though they are auras. Is this intended? Do you want me to have temp chains, enfeeble, blasphemy, arrogance, and lifetap in a five-link just to reserve two curses on my life? The only other solution as a player would be to turn the auras on in a particular order, but it seems silly to me.

If there is no bug here and this is intended, sorry for wasting your time.

Dude.....Blood Magic and Arrogance has different cost and reservation multiplier, plus 3.15 probably further changed that . I.e. forget your build that based on old Blood Magic

Sorry if something in what I said wasn't clear. My build is not a blood magic build. It's a low-life bane occultist which reserves two curses on life just to get low-life for pain attunement.
My point was only that I'm not sure if curse auras costing mana when linked with arrogance is intended.

Reserving Mana or Life no longer involves spending anything - so you don't need any current Mana to turn on an Aura, you just need enough of your Mana orb to be unreserved that the Aura's reservation will fit.

However, while previously reservations were mutually exclusive with costs, this is no longer the case and it's possible for a skill to have both a reservation and a cost, in which case the cost will still require spending (but using a reservation skill a second time to 'turn it off' does not require paying the cost again).

The most notable case of this is Mine skills - these all have costs as well as reservations, which must both be satisfied to use the skill, and can each be modified separately. This also means that mechanics that add to the costs of skills, such as the Voidbringer unique gloves, will now affect skills with reservations, which previously escaped this due to being unable to have both. OP, I guess you have to turn off one of the "mana-cost aura" first before turning on your curse auras.
you still need to "cast" the curse on top of the reservation and the arrogance has 220% cost and reservation multiplier, So there is no bug. It work that way since 3.14
