Can't Link Account to Steam

The Steam account associated with this request is already linked to another Path of Exile account.
Existing Account: Clynnx Proceeding with this request will delete the existing account and any characters or purchases you have made. I don't have the old account I made in like 2013 anymore, however I still play this game on steam. Can I safely link path of exile to my steam's path of exile? If you play Path of Exile through Steam and wish to attach an email address to it so you can use the standalone client, you'll need to ensure that you've logged into our website using the green "Sign in through STEAM" button then attach an email address here: https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/change-email
If the email address you'd like to use is already associated with another Path of Exile account please send an email to support@grindinggear.com and we may be able to look into this further :) | |

Just to be clear: do not link the accounts. You cannot merge accounts. It will replace your existing characters, achievements, microtransactions et al with the new account’s.
