The specified account does not exist

I tried loging in today and I got the error message: "The specified account does not exist", I also tried loging into the website with no success. What do I do?

Hi there!
Do you use Steam or Epic Games (etc?) If that is the case; you may want to use the 'Sign in through Steam' buttons when you log in. Sometimes a Path of Exile account name may not align with the Steam name, causing the error to occur. If this doesn't work, try emailing us at support@grindinggear.com!
