Watchstone not dropping after killing a conqueror

Hi there.

I managed to kill the Hunter but had no drop of the green watchstone. Now I'm sitting at awakening level 5 when I'm supposed to be at 6, in the atlas I have 23 instead of 24 watchstones socketed.
I have checked and double checked requisites for the conqueror to spawn and I was sure the watchstone was not obtained.

Something like that has happened to anyone else?

Sure. This happens when you spawn Hunter in an area that has already awarded you with a green watchstone. Each area has only one set of watchstones.

I wonder how can this happen, I mean, I have on the Citadel the indication of the watchstone as OBTAINED and Conqueror cannot spawn... so, according to you, this is false as we can have a conqueror spawning on a region where the corresponding watchstone was already obtained...

They can spawn in areas where you already obtained their watchstone after your first Sirus.
They still only appear once / cycle that is the 4 conquerors + sirus.
So you need to get to Sirus again and then look at your atlas where you can spawn them and run maps there.

To add onto this, the atlas will prioritize a conqueror for a stone you do not have yet. Bu if you continue to run maps in an area where you have the stones of the conqs already and it is time for that conq to spawn in the sirus cycle it will spawn (and then not drop a stone).

Stones 21-32 can be tricky this way. Look at your regions and plan accordingly.
