Bow Build and Bow Crafting

I'm probably gonna build three different Bow Builds, and play them concurrently.

1. Elemental Hit Raider

2. Chaos Toxic Rain Trickster, probably with some single-target bow skill like Caustic Arrow or Scourge Arrow or, if i can get chaos conversion high enough, then Barrage or some other skill. (wouldn't mind some recommendations here)

3. A pure max dmg physical bow build. Not sure what class to use here, but all the Ranger ascendancies: Deadeye, Pathfinder and Raider again, and Scion seem like good options.

(Or I could possibly use one of the Duelist ascendencies; Gladiator for Bleed for instance. Assassin, Trickster or Occultist to utilize Poison, those are more remote possibilities as i want to maximize physical dmg, but if it's possible to add bleed and/or Poison without compromising Phys dmg to much then that would make me interested)

That brings me to the questions i wanna ask of you:

I would like to craft bows for these builds, but i'm not sure how to go about that. Like what item base to use, what influence or influences would be best, recommended ilvl, and what kind of mods would be optimal. i wouldn't mind some thoughts on what kind of crafting method, like alteration + regal, fossil crafting, or other method i should use

For number 1. Raider - Elemental Hit, (not gonna go for frenzy charges with this build) I imagine a very fast bow, like a Thicket Bow with attack speed explicit would be good. Also as much +# gem level as possible, additional arrows/projectiles. Other than that, some combination of flat fire dmg (using combat focus viridian and crimson jewels for fire dmg), inc % fire dmg, inc % elemental dmg, crit chance, crit multiplier and fire penetration. Let me know if you think this sounds like good modifiers to go for and if there are others that i should consider. Would also appreciate what kind of influence i should have one the item

As for the two other bows i want to craft i have much less of an idea of what i'm after. Would love some advice on what i should be aiming for and how to craft that.

Finally, if there are unique bows which are close to a rare bow in terms of power, is very good defensively, or has great utility, please bring those to my attention. Here's hoping you have great advice for me :D

Putting aside that I am not an expert on bow skills in general, I can assure you that Toxic Rain scales single target better than Caustic Arrow. I have seen TR builds use CA for clearing, but not the other way around.

Incidentally I do not think you would want to play either of them together with Scourge Arrow, for which you would want to scale poison rather than non-ailment damage over time (also requires accuracy and stuff, since that is basically irrelevant to CA and TR).

As for your targets, you could check out builds on poe.ninja to see what bows are regarded as ideal (since poe.ninja shows the top players who are usually highly geared).

You do not necessarily need to attempt to craft bows that are exactly like the ones you see being used, but it might give you an idea of what mods are important.

And of course you will also be able to see if there is a unique bow that is commonly used with a certain build.
