How does supporter pack upgrade work?

During Ritual I bought 200 point for 20$. So now I have the opportunity to upgrade the supporter packs using the the previous purchase. For example I can get Renegade supporter for 10$. What happens if I buy another pack of 100 or 200 point? Will this 10$ reduce to zero? Or it can only be lowered to 6$ because that is the 80% of 30$.

As you point out, a maximum of 80% of the value of a Supporter Pack can be contributed using the upgrade system. This means the most you could contribute to the Renegade Supporter Pack would be 200 Points worth of plain Point Packs, as if you had more than that (for example 250 Points worth of Point Packs) then the remaining value would be less than this minimum requirement.
