1. Do you play over mobile or wire? If it is mobile check your connection.
2. Did you try to exit all application that run(or may run) in the background (browser, filters, etc.) 3. Did you check PC for viruses? 4. Did you check is windows is not doing something stupid, like update? 5. Did you try to log your gameplay and see what gets pinned (max out) at the time of freezes? 6. Do you have the latest drivers? For me, when i was getting shutters/freezes the problem was internet connection, to be precise i had poelab site open, and the site refreshes it self causing my internet connection to clog up. 2nd time it was again internet connection (the thing most people forget about and claim its fine) when windows was doing update i could not turn off. 3rd time it was again internet connection , mobile phones that used whole bandwidth loading or downloading an app. For that you either turn off wifi or set limitations to specific device in router. Give your PC max bandwidth and priority. Dynamic cullling and dynamic resolution should help with better performance |

Hi Liquid_stone
Thank you for such a quick reply i do greatly appreciate it i play on fibre optic cable witha 100mb/s up and 100 mb/s down line i even restarted my pc and made sure that nothing was running in the background nothing on startup i have done extensive virus checks and nothing was found my windows was not doing an update and the only thing taking cpu resources at the time was mainly poe the closest thing to it was 6-7 windows aplications that took 0.1% of my cpu my drivers are up to date ive even tried getting nvidia control panel to optimise poe to hopefully sort out teh problem but it ahs not. what do u mean by log my game play tto see where things get maxed out? how would i go about doing this? poe is the only game im having this issue with. also this happens even when just walking around in any town or hideout if taht makes a difference |

Did you try turning vxync off? or did you try a different realm?
|

ive tried turning my vsync off no difference ive tried playing on different servers ( amsterdam ect)
i noticed that with nothing else but path of exile and windows task manager open that my gpu goes from 80%-100% but this is even standing completely still in town with only the other players moving around and it still spikes which makes no sense because the nvidia gtx 760 has 2 gigs ram memory on it im also running it with a hdmi cable to my screan if that makes any difference but i do not have any of these issues in any other games even games with much better graphics ( lords of the fallen) would u recommend reinstalling the game and seeing if that makes any difference or would I just be waisting my time? |

try to switch the networking mode from lockstep to predictive.
if that fixes your problem, it's network/latency related. if not, it's a local problem. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
