Can Inpulsa shock if the damage is converted to another type that can?

Inpulsa says that the lightning damage caused by the explosions can't shock, but if you used something like voltaxic rift to convert to chaos damage and also allows chaos damage to shock, would it be able to shock?

The shock prevention is not conditional to the damage being lightning damage. The explosion from Inpulsa's Broken Heart can never inflict shock.

Supporting DER_PSYCHOPATH. If something cannot deal a certain ailment, it cannot deal that ailment, period.

If you really want to have chaining Inpulsa explosions, you might want to use Storm's Gift Synthesis Gloves (kinda easy to find if you can run Memories, not Cortex). The gloves will make any enemy you kill shocked (even if killed by an Inpulsa's explosion), and will make that shock proliferate around them, thereby making them elibile to Inpulsa explosion if not explode right away with the damage of the first explosin (not quite sure on the timing for this last part)
