I had 2 Dell laptops and one of them is an Inspiron. I also noticed a problem with its cooling system. Tried everything to fix it. I had to return that Inspiron and bought a new Acer Aspire instead and everything was fine.

PS : the Dell Inspiron I owned had the exact same spec as the Acer I have now.

Edit : oh yeah I forgot to tell you about some kind of "fix" I found, the cause of this issue was the Intel Turbo Boost, looks like the cooling system can't handle the overclocking it does sometimes. To disable that, go to the advanced power settings and lower the CPU's power consumption to 99%. It should help a lot. Try to buy an external fan to reduce the heat also (that's what I did too). But, if you want your CPU to be used at its max, you should get another laptop.

thanks man yeah, i think is the turbo boost, i dont think is my laptop, cause i play WOW, Diablo 3, Fiesta, Metin 2, and other games and everything is fine, i think is the turbo boots which is causing the issue with the game.
I'm really not sure what to tell you here. You can't really blame the laptop problems on the game other than it is an intensive game that requires a lot of resources... any software that required that much resource for that long of a time would have similar issues.

If you watch all your resources, chances are they are capping out for long periods of time (causing overheating). Try turning down all the settings to lowest and see if it still has issues (it might). Also, make sure your laptop is properly ventilated.

In general I find that laptops don't make the best gaming PCs. They can be fine for certain games, but PoE is a deceptively resource hungry game. It looks simple on the surface, but it has better graphics than most other games due to the details and stuff they put into it.

WoW, and Diablo 3 might have decent graphics, but they are nowhere near as detailed as PoE.
Laptops are not for gaming due to bad cooling system,

you can try and buy cooling desk for laptops.

If you need any help at computers, or game related, feel free to ask!
