The D3D device has a non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released.

EDIT:

Problem went away, just tryed changing to full-screen 1920x1080 with 16x Anisotropic filtering. I did not receive the error again, and its holding steady at 60 FPS.

Just installed the game, default settings were quite low, so i turned everything up to max, and then i got that error.

The D3D device has a non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released."

I'm using

HD radeon 5870

Intel core 2 quad (Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz)

Razer megalodon headset

8 GB memory

Windows 8 Pro 64 bit

I click okay on the error box, it loads the game in full-screen with no video (black screen) but has sound.

Had to force restart because i couldn't alt tab out, and the settings were reset to defaults (low graphic settings, and windowed.)

I have no clue what's wrong. It's certainly not my graphics card. It's not the best but its pretty powerful, i was able to play Crysis 3 with 30 fps on medium.

Default settings are:
Windowed 1024x768,
Vsync - on,
shadow Q - Varience shadow mapping
Antialiasing quality - Off
texture Quality - High
texture filtering - 2X Anisotropic filtering
post processing - On
screen shake - On

I changed texture filtering to x16, and i changed to full-screen at 1920x1080

It appears that the fullscreen is causing it.

Here's my video card info, if that's actually the cause please explain why, thanks in advance for the help :D
