Stuck on the atlas - what s my best strategy now

I have been struggling with the atlas for a bit. I have been able to get all the watch stones that require 3 sockets per zone. I am left with only the ones requiring 4 sockets at this point.
However my map stash is mostly composed of tier 9 and 10s, with a few tier 11 12 13 and one single tier 14!!!! It means that I do not have the maps that I need to trigger influence in a 4 watch stone zone. What is my best strategy at this point to move forward? Last bumped on Jan 19, 2020, 9:01:09 PM

" - if you have map in your stash that havent unlock completion bonus.unlock that first. or unlock that as long as you progress - first make sure you have at least 30 T10 map - set your atlas by placing watchstone in such a manner that you have 3-5 t10. To make those t10 included in drop pool - set your atlas by placing watchstone in such a manner that you have 3-5 t11. To make those t11 included in drop pool - set your atlas by placing watchstone in such a manner that you have 1-2 t12. To make those t12 included in drop pool - if you have any watchstone left. socket it in a single region to increase awakening bonus - check your atlas in the filter so when you search "Tier:10" there is 3-5 map highlighted, 3-5 "Tier:11" highlighted, 1-2 "Tier:12" highlighted - bulk roll those 30 T10 map(you dont get to be picky with map layout) until all map have at least +20% monster pack size. - farm those 30 map(kill all boss and metamorph) when you finish. check if you have at least 30 T11 map. if you dont have that re roll another 30 t10 map. if you have at least 30 t11 map you can set your atlas so you have 3-5 t11,3-5 t12, 1-2 t13. Complete any uncompleted map if they drop. - when you get a t14 map you can try to "fish" an influence. Make sure there is 4 watchstone socketed in region which map you try to "fish". If no influence spawn back to farm. If a influence spawn you can run low tier map in that region "white or yellow" map in a hope to spawn conqueror. You dont have to do this of course if you prefer wait until you have 30 t14 feel free to wait. - if you dont mind to burn some chaos you can use "awakening level cheat" by buying unique watchstone (10-20c) each. As long as that unique watchstone not socketed in region which you farm. They wont consume any charge. The watchstone just be used as "Threshold watchstone" for awakening level. - the number 3-5 map that i give is just an advise. Of course the more the better. Just try to increase atlas completion bonus because it matter a lot. And try to complete awakening completion bonus to when you can. |

Well the map is certainly drop like a rain this league. I think people who are struggling with map farm. Is either picky with map layout (GGG is penalizing player who farm same layout over and over again) or unfamiliar with previous atlas map sustaining method.
To people that familiar with previous atlas sustaining method i think better translate watchstone as moveable (shaper orb). In previous atlas there is tier 1 haunted mansion, when we use shaper orb on haunted mansion to upgrade it. It become like this, T1 haunted mansion become inactive and no longer able to drop, T6 Haunted mansion become active and included in map drop pool. When we already understand the concept of watchstone is equal to movable shaper orb, farming atlas become very easy and not many things change. Well might be not many people use unshaping orb in the past so concept of movable shaping orb is foreign to them |
