PoE 2. No contest. We'll get PoE 2 in 1 year or more likely early 2021 and Diablo 4 will be years away from release even then. But Blizzard could surprise us and fast track D4 to release at the same time the next generation of gaming consoles are out for the 2020 Christmas season. Throw darts at the board to get the years away from release D4 is.

The D4 demo had some promise but the itemization was still garbage (maybe even more bland than D3's, if that's possible) so PoE2 wins by a few lightyears at the moment.
We have no idea what the final version of either game will actually look like though. |

Since Blizzard North (the original devs for diablo) were trashed by money grubby hungry exec's, the game to it's very core has lacked balance. They cannot balance gear, characters, monsters or Loot. They will patch one thing to fix one of those issues and then break something else in the process. They have no idea how to optimize.
I will never contribute a Dime to the company. Path of Exile all the way for many more years to come. |

Who won? Well ... they are not even releasing close to eachother so why even compare? We are probably somewhere between 4.3 and 4.5 when D4 gets a release date :D
