Constantly dying with gloomfang and a shapers ring.

Reproduction steps:
1) Get a shavs, drop ur hp and equip gloomfang.
2) Get A shaped ring with +life gain on hit with spells.
3) use any spell what so ever.
4) Go into delve or incursion, start spamming that spell and observe how you suicide constantly, although you should have + life gained not lost.

NOTE:
Gloomfang is -13
ring is + 14

It doesn't happen all the time but, it happens very often in delve when I hit monsters in the darkness.

Easy to solve.

You try to replensih energy shield with "lifegaian on spellhit".
That does not work.

"Lifegain" is not "lifeleech" so you cant replenish energy shield with lifegain on hit with, i guess, Ghost reaver.

If you dont, than its easy due to the fact that you only have 190hp.

If you hit enough enemys at once (to be exact, 15) you will die, because you first loose 195 life (13 x 15) and than cant gain life, because you are dead.

To solve this you either have to drop gloomfang, or you need more unreserved life. If you have like, i dont know, 600 life, it should happen quite rare.

Dude, I am not trying to replenish es.
The modifier for that is "Spell damage leeched as energy shield"

I am trying to replenish life with the ring to counter the effect of gloomfang. Which works like 90% of the time.
However for some reason, sometimes ( not always ) I first take the life and then get it. I can't see my life changing at all. However, in some cases, I instantly die. I can even hit multiple mobs from blight and don't die, but I instantly shot myself in delve.

You can only get life, when you have lost life.

You have only 190 life

Gloomfang removes 13 life on spellhit.

Your ring gives 14 life on spellhit.

If you cast magmaorb, and you hit 15 enemys with one hit, you loose 195 life (13x15=195). Than you would get 210 life (14x15), but you cant becasue you just lost 195 life and you are DEAD!

€You will see no change in life, as long asa you dont overshoot your life with one hit of magmaorb. As soon as you do, you will die.
