"Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" ignored by Fossils
Had a belt with +35% chaos Resistance, +48 Strength, +18% lightning resistance and two prefixes I didn't care about. Dropped "Suffixes cannot be changed" then hit it with a "More minion" fossil + chaotic resonator.
Result: Rarity: Rare Woe Cord Heavy Belt -------- Requirements: Level: 65 -------- Item Level: 82 -------- +33 to Strength -------- +54 to Strength 5% reduced Enemy Stun Threshold +73 to maximum Life 17% increased Stun Duration on Enemies Note the lack of minion modifier and OH YEAH, my suffixes are gone. Fossils, same as essences, are ignoring "Suffixes/Prefixes" cannot be changed mechanics. This is working as intended.

So *some* methods of rerolling an item follow the modifier and *others* don't. Especially the chaotic resonator which is supposed to be a chaos orb + restrictions.
If that's truly "as designed", that's *shitty* design. It's completely opaque to players. Chaos orb: "Reforges a rare item with new random modifiers" Essence: "or Reforges a rare item" Chaotic resonator: "Reforges a rare item with new random modifiers" Yeah, I should totally have guessed that one of these acted completely unlike the others and that following "suffixes can't be modified" would be the exception for the chaos orb and not the *rule* for "reforges a rare item". Utterly terrible idea. Last edited by Arrataz#0324 on Jun 9, 2019, 3:08:42 AM

Can I get an official confirmation that despite being worded identically, chaotic resonators ignore "Suffixes cannot be changed" and chaos orbs do not, and that this was something you did intentionally? (And if so, FGS WHY?)
