Info:
Immortal Call No longer makes you immune to physical damage for a duration.
Base duration is now 1 second at all gem levels (from 0.4 seconds).
Now has an instant cast time (from 0.85 seconds).
Now causes you to take 25% less elemental damage and 25% less physical damage at gem level 1, with the values growing based on the gem level, up to 34% less elemental damage and 35% less physical damage at gem level 20.

Why Arcane Surge level 10?
- Arcane Surge needs mana spent to be triggered, level 10 is good for decent mana spent, this Curse Combo Provides you with extra Spell Damage / Cast Speed

Thoughts on the Chieftain version as a starter over Heiro?

OH and you have infused channeling in your set up, the gem says on it that totems can not use it?

This was my second Flame Totem try last league on 3.6, the Chieftain one is little more defensive cuz of the life leech etc.. but this one is insane strong!
You got some more Totem placement speed witch makes everything so fast, running trough maps and just cast the totems.

Melting T16 maps - EZ Shaper kill, and can farm Uber Elder.

what about the changes to immortal call will that vastly lower the survivability of this build or will it be fine? I know its a build that lets its totems do all the work so I"m thinking the lack of instant immunity in the rarity you get hit for a lot could make things harder

Hi!

Well, Immortal call will still be the survivanillity gem combo.
It now gives us Physical damage reduction on both elemental/physical hits.
So with this build we will just lvl Immortal up to 20.
I will also try get some Endurance charge for a try to get another % Ele/phys reduction on hit.

Ill keep u all updated!

it will still be safe thou becouse of the Totem Playstyle :)

Thanks for sharing the build. I intend to farm uber elder and uber lab with a holy flame totem build. Which class will you recommend? I will need life sustain/regen to tackle lab traps and accidental failures to dodge in uber elder.

Hi!

You can just pick the panthon note ( the one who refill flasks every 3rd second )

you should be able to use this build for Lab farmer, just be patient to dodge traps etc.
go with 2 lifeflasks and quicksilver and right nodes on pantheon.

How would this build change by utilizing Elemental Overload instead of building for crit? Seems like it's very squishy and a lot of points are used to get to the crit nodes near the Assassin area, and it sacrifices a lot of defenses for that.

Would putting more points into life, taking EO, and forgoing crit be possible? I want to try this build because melee is still "meh" to me, but want something that I don't continually get 1 shot from a white skeleton.

My only concern is the lack of defenses and life.

This is a great beginner build. The leveling is super smooth, even SSF and the totems allow you to watch the attacks of bosses while staying out of harm's way, a great way to learn the new telegraphed attacks.

Two questions though.
1.Why use infused channeling when totems cannot gain infusion?
2.Why go for Sanctuary of Thought instead of Arcane Blessing? I'm just starting maps but mana doesn't seem to be that much of a problem so far.

1.: Its just the best option for a % total dps
2.: its just optional, we got total of %40 damage taken as mana and last league i was high on mana and huge hits saved me :)
