Best path for a Cold Archer build?
I was looking to make a Cold Ranger, was wandering on some opinions about the best way to go about it.

" You probably want the Ice Bite passive and Iron Grip can't hurt. Crit chance gives you both survivability and damage, so that's a good bet (though bow's 5% crit chance is lacking). Aspd also gives survivability and damage, but will force you to solve the problem of mana. For skills, Rain of Arrows + Freezing is immensely cool looking, though Frenzy, Split Arrow, and Puncture are all good alternatives. Hatred is obviously a must, and Added Cold damage is quite good (to stack even more freeze/chill duration). Elemental Proliferation is the shit, but that's a lot of support gems already. You can make the trek up into the ice passives if you want but it'll cost you about 15 points in travel time from the center which hurts really bad. Likewise you could trek up to the Templar weapon elemental damage nodes, but that's another pain in the ass. (Keep an eye out for these sexy gloves if you do get ice damage in passives. I have them for a glacial hammer mace duelist that's working out really well.) Unavailable Some items in this post are currently unavailable.
