Cannot access Brine King's reef after patch - never mind. No Brain, No Pain i always say

i accessed it after talking with Weylam Roth and he gave me the ride to the reef. i had to log out. i waited until tonight to redo that and while i can talk with Welam and he gives me two options:

The Brine King's Reef (after which he would give me a ride)
The Brine King (where he talks about the Brine King)

but i cannot get to the reef any longer :(

if it's something i need to redo, i'll do it - but i have the waypoint, i can talk with Weylam, just can't get to the instance

addendum: This is in Betrayal. i figure it is because my character is named Blinddog and just can't see it :)
