Tips on finding Runed Caverns?

I've been stumped on Delve Encounters II - Runed Caverns. I'm well aware that it spawns at basically any depth and almost all the biomes, but somehow it's the last thing holding me back from 40 challenges (just need a few more labs for endgame grind, and then use a 4-socket resonator and some fossils).

I've even found nearly every Delve Encounters IV item (even though you only need 6) as well as quite a lot of delve bosses, and I've delved far and wide at various depths looking for Runed Caverns.

Taking into account the fact that it takes time to get sulphite, but also that deeper depth probably has a higher chance of spawning special nodes, does anybody have suggestions as to what depth I should be looking for Runed Caverns?

I think it depends on your top speed. If you have a lab runner, I'd suggest running in extremely low depths, so that you don't have to worry about sulphite at all, or maybe refill every couple hundreds of nodes (if it takes you that long to find it).

If you're slow, running deeper won't slow you down much, and you can run somewhere before sulphite costs start to increase significantly.

I can handle the deepest delves with ease, but right now that was my idea...run delves at depths 100-150 since it's cheaper. I just don't know if that's actually time efficient or not -- less sulphite refueling but also less frequent runed cavern I would assume (of course I've found zero so so far it hasn't mattered at all which depth I've tried!)

I had the same issue with Whispering Gallery - was not able to find it no matter what. Then I went sideways at depth ~90 and finally found it, but it took like a week of non-stop delving 5-6 hours a day.
So the only tip would be - keep trying and you'll find it eventually.

Thanks, I'll keep trying. My only worry is that time is really running out. And I've been pretty much delving the whole league (past 2 months) so assuming my chances are about equal now as at any other time it doesn't seem like I have much of a shot. It's kinda depressing because then my endgame grind was kinda wasted.
