'Ascent From Flesh' phasing doesn't work

I am running an Occultist; currently have Wicked Ward ascendency.
I never see phasing activate when I'm wearing Ascent From Flesh belt and my ES has started recently. I deliberately get hit by monsters, then wait for ES recharge to start. I don't see phasing buff appear or my character go translucent. I also don't see increased movement speed or dodge % in my character sheet. I also tried this by casting vaal discipline and phasing still doesn't activate. submitted this bug in-game via bug reference# 1,967,385,688 Last bumped on Oct 10, 2018, 10:45:56 PM

"Phasing" is just the effect of being able to walk through enemies. Any other bonuses (evasion, speed, visual effect, etc.) are granted by other skills or items, not by the Phasing status itself.
Effects of the form "You have X if you have done Y recently" generally aren't buffs, and therefore do not have a buff icon. They just apply to your character directly as long as the condition is true. Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Oct 10, 2018, 10:46:14 PM
