New gladiator's versatile combatant is deception
Old version description
There is a benefit as following 1) "100% of Block Chance applied to Spells" 3.4.0 version description There are 2 benefits as following 1) Chance to Block Spell Damage is equal to Chance to Block Attack Damage 2) Maximum Chance to Block Spell Damage is equal to Maximum Chance to Block Attack Damage In real life 1) 100% of Block Chance applied to Spells instead of blocking spell = blocking attack chance - Example : Unique amulet,The Stone of Lazhwar or any spell blocking from passive skill not provides blocking bonus with versatile combatant. 2) Not sure (not tested yet) Thanks in advance for fixing this bug (or give me some explaining if i misunderstood) Last bumped on Sep 25, 2018, 11:47:07 AM

versatile combatant only changed by max block. so yes any attack block also applies to spell block. and not the other way around so anything that gives spell block does not give more attack block. your better off wearing something like the anvil for more attack and spell block.
here is the text from patch notes "and the text of spell block=attack block from the tooltip on the ascendancy and again its a one way street it does not say that attack block is fixed based on spell block as well. its very misleading they should have left it as the old text of 100% attack block applied to spell block and just added max block=max spell block. Gladiator is very OP in my eyes because now you don't need a shield to have good block chance when you can be dual wielding swords and have max block....not very intuitive but that's how it works right now.
