Game crash after second Izaro encounter

A guildmate was carrying my new character through uber lab. After defeating Izaro in the second encounter, I attempted to join my guildmate for the final third of the lab. I turned on Righteous Fire and clicked on the Aspirant's Trial portal to zone into Izaro's chambers. At this point the screen froze and the game closed. No error messages were display.

Less than an hour later we ran the lab again. After the second Izaro encounter, I did not turn on Righteous Fire prior to clicking on the portal. I doubt RF had anything to do with it, but I didn't want to waste another offering. This second time I was allowed to continue through the lab and complete my ascendancy.
