Map drop chance in multiplayer.

I was going through poe wikki in order to find some info on how to farm more maps. There is the following quote from there:
"
The chance of a non-unique Map dropping is not affected by party size.[2] They are affected by the quantity and rarity bonuses provided by the Map they are dropped inside of.

In my experience that is a 100% completely false statement. Can someone confirm that for me?

Also from what i observed so far i get equal amount of map drops with +1 or +5 people in a party. Can someone tell me if they know for sure if i get more maps with more players or if it is not really effected? Thank you for the help

Reading is hard.

You say you disagree and then you say the same thing it says.

They make it work that way so that there's nothing that a player can do with a given map to change the chances of getting maps from it, short of modifying the map itself. No items help. No partying helps. Doesn't matter if you go clockwise or counter clockwise.

If you want more maps, you invest in the maps you have. Better mods. Better Zana effects. Better atlas bonus. Open all chests/barrels etc. Kill all monsters. But nothing like adding "players" or wearing "MF gear" helps.

Additional players add additional quantity. I thought quanitity gave more maps, not sure.
The form of additional quantity that comes from the map does. Zana's mods do. But other forms don't directly.

It's better to go for more monsters than more quantity per monster.

No you interpret it that way because 'Reading is hard.' apparently. I specifically stated that in my own experience i get more drops in multiplayer then I explained that again from what i observe although i get more maps with ME+1 more player i get the same amount of maps in a situation where it is ME+5 more players. How that agrees with

is unknown to me.

From what i can see this quote is an old one 2012 so i asked because things might have changed in some way.

If you want to stop being a prick and actually help out can you point me out to a direction where this info is confirmed in some way? I had multiple runs with me+1 person where i get 6+ 11-14 tier maps which happened exactly 0 times when i am playing alone. Now if that was a once or twice occasion i would say it was just luck but considering it happened around 6 times so far in a spawn of 3 days i would say that luck has nothing to do with it... so either i am being extremely lucky or the formula you described seems to have changed?

When i do party with my friend i usually notice i get almost no maps. Tho party in my opinion have absolutely no impact on regular map drop, never see it. I observed just opposite effect to be honest so that just make me more convinced. RNG tho.

bruh it's the wiki not a GGG statement
well if you want to be exact more player increase the chance on Map drops, because you add more quant per player so Unique Maps have a higher chance to drop...

But you talk probably about the normal/magic/rare maps for those it doenst matter if you play solo or in a 6 men group...

Only more quant on the map iteself + Zana mods + sextants mods increase the map drops ( quant on gear doenst matter at all )

Only the quantity number you see listed inside the map info sheet (Tab key) influences the amount of map drops. Party size does not influence map drops, neither do the quantity mods you have on gear.

If this wasn't so, partying and wearing quantity gear would be a must have to progress through the Atlas. And that would be an extremely limiting bad design.

???

You said in your damn post that you notice no difference with extra players, read what you typed before you reply to "arrogant" players, when they can perfectly read the wiki and your post.
