Item rarity with minions

Hello!

I have searched the web for this problem but haven't really got any clue if it works or not. I found a thread that dated back several years and i don't know if it has any truth to it. My question is:

Does my minions gain rarity find from my equipment. What i mean is, say that i have 2 andvarius rings on me. Will my Raging skull or skeleton kills track that? The threads i've read are unsure or state that it is a bug. Do you know?
