Cold spell that *Hits* the most

Trying a Elemental Equilibrium build with Cospri's Malice. I am using the cold damage from the spell procs to maximise my main source of lightning damage.

Which could spell on trigger from the sword would lead to the most number of hits to proc EE? From what I gather, Glacial Cascade seems to trigger multiple hits. Any other suggestions?

I am looking for spells similar to Firestorm (0.1 sec per hit) and Blade Vortex (0.2 sec per hit) but it needs to be cold due to the sword.

Such a spell does not exist. Well, there's Whispering Ice, but obviously you can't use it.

How about Frost Wall? Assuming you cannot displace the mob (shaper cannot be knockback), do they constantly take damage by being trapped in the wall?

Then you really want Phasing or you will be trapped in your own Frost Walls. ;)

Frostwall only deals damage when cast. Also it has a cooldown.

Just use blade vortex with added cold damage.

PS: Also, Cospri's Malice deals cold damage anyway.

You could use Freezing Pulse with a spell totem. You should only need it for bosses anyways.

Edit: Also, Blade Vortex linked to added cold damage should work. Maybe throw that on a CwDT to keep it up.

Unfortunately BV is not a cold spell so Cospri is unable to proc it. It would have been perfect if it could.

You are right about frost wall. Shame :/
