What is a "Levelling Item" from the Blood Altar?
|
Hey there, folks. Quick question. When I go to The Menagerie, and click on the Blood Altar, there are many different options. Most of them make sense. "Rare Armour", "Rare Weapon". No confusion.
But up at the top there's one for "Create a Levelling Item". What exactly does this mean? What are levelling items? How are they different from "rare" items? Thanks. Last bumped on Mar 22, 2018, 3:24:55 AM

More or less rare items that help to get you well setup to run trought act 1 - 10
You can get the right mods for kinda any situations ( combined with flask craft aswell ) - Guess it's pretty nice for SSF players in regular leagues you tend to just buy 1 alch uniques that outperform most of rare possible craft in this list - Hope it helped :) Hf :)

lvl-ing items require zone/act uniques. And can be of any rarity (usually yellow) that just help you progress. They are ilvl locked due to requiring a specific unique mob, thus will only take you so far.

They're items that are useful for levelling. Like a staunching flask, that's pretty useful. Or movespeed boots, try levelling without those! They don't do anything special other than that though.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Let me explain to you what leveling item is in the Managerie! You find a recipie of a leveling item and you are hyped becouse you think it will hlp you progress your character but then you find out that for an ilvl 10 item you need to find your past captured beasts that are like 40 levels over your level and you die in 1 hit.
This is your leveling items crafting game design. You rather use your alchs and essences becouse beside the end game beastcrafting of gg items or multiplying 6 links and gg flasks you get nothing. |

They are items that generally tend to be the same RNG crap you find anywhere else in the game, so technically are a total waste of your time and energy as leveling items can be bought on PoE trade 10000000x faster than any of the mechanics added with Bestiary.
