Constant lag fluctuation (40ms to 400 and back)
I have been playing POE for a long time now and never experienced this issue. It has only started with the launch of 3.2 because I was playing just fine before this. I have tried to disable my router and connect directly to the modem and I get the same exact issues while playing. I have also tried --noasync and --waitforpreload. I have also tried switching from Lockstep to Predictive and that does stop the stuttering in game, but I can still clearly see the packet loss and I desync all the time. I think I did the pastebin thing right, here is a copy of my WINMTR log:

" Hi, Thanks for the WinMTR log! So on the first hop, which should be your modem, I'm seeing an average ping of 257 ms, a worst ping of 2,745 ms, and 16 pings sent to the modem failed to arrive at their destination. To provide some context, a worst ping of 257 ms to your modem would be considered unduly high. Are you connecting your PC to the modem over WiFi? If so, would it be possible to try using an Ethernet cable instead - or, failing that, maybe a powerline adapter kit? The problem with wireless connections is that nothing shields traffic from interference. They can be fine one day, then the next day your neighbour changes their network and it causes yours problems. Or it could be interference from unintuitive things such as microwave ovens, baby monitors, wireless phones... If you're using a wired connection it would be worth checking whether the Ethernet cable has become loose at either end, or whether any pets may have damaged it. If you haven't already, it's possible a power cycle (the old "turn it off and on again") is all your modem needs to get back on top of things. I'd recommend keeping it off for two minutes just to be sure. |

" Thank you for the response to my post. I am using an ethernet connection and my connection setup has not changed in over 6 months. I have never had this issue before and I have zero issues when I play other games (such as; WoW, D3, LoL, Overwatch). My PS4 is also connected to this same network and I don't have any issues connecting online to play DBFZ or Injustice 2. |

Same problem since the last update, connection fluctuates between 30 ms and 150-200 ms every second.
I'm not gonna bother checkin with WinMTR since i've never experienced this problem in poe and i currently dont have this problem in any other game. It is clearly a problem on GGG side, hope they'll fix it soon ^^ (Italy, Milan server and Frankfurt server aswell) |
