Bandit Quest in FoOriath - "Best" Ranger Pick

I'm pretty new to the game and have only gotten through the old Bandit quest (Oak, Kraityn, Alira, Eramir) maybe 4 or 5 times and have been told that 3.0.1c Fall of Oriath changed the quest rewards a little bit.

As a "ranged" Ranger (doing a Tornado type build) what are you guys going with? More Skill points, faster running speed, or some other mechanics this n00b doesn't get.
