I'm excite. Will probably do a night shift. Summer heat dissipating into the night, a cold beer and PoE...

The voided thing is quite irrelevant for most players. Temp leagues are also "voided" in a practical sense, since most players do not continue playing in Std after the league ends.

In impenetrable darkness
The only thing i dont liek about voided is MTX absence.

true altho keeping stuff in std feels good because it isn't lost :P u can still use it to try out builds when bored and is there for u if u wanna feel rich xd
3.26 when?
Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe.
Two weeks voided seems kind of dangerous tbh. You'd get multiple exalt drops in that time, and god forbid if a mirror drops...

Then again, there's no real league going right now, so...
I'm sure all the Beta testers / PTR testers in history have this dilemma all the time, myself included.
"What if super rare sparkles hammer drops! I'll never get to keep it!"

I would totally get it for players that still regularly play standard servers; every little currency you earn on a voided event is essentially "robbed" from you. Some players will put dozens / hundreds of hours into one of these events, and luck of the draw could make it so they earned absolutely nothing from it ( including givaways ).

It's a much easier pill to swallow for those that treat each new league / temp event like it's just a quick run-through of Super Mario Bros. Or for those that thoroughly enjoy "Rogue-like" games / modes where permanent loss of things happens all the time.

In regards to the Mayhem event ...I really do understand their reluctance to make it transferable, because of whatever level of strongbox, exile, etc. lootexplosion that's going to happen. It would be like being able to keep your goodies from a PTR server that had drop rates cranked up to 2000%. Standard server economy would tank immediately and forever be screwed up.

That all said, it really comes down to what level of "absurdity" this event provides. Legacy League in and of itself fundamentally breaks the standard economy as well ...so it would have to be truly outrageous for them to justify voiding all progress.

Seems like it will be a fun league, dgaf about it being voided.

If only I could make up my mind what build to play...
What I don't get is why the 2 week is being voided after we've had the most over-the-top, raining-currency league ever, in Legacy.

That's where I was getting at in my post, but it comes down to just "how bad" Mayhem is going to be. It's one thing for say ( just an example ) legacy league increasing drops by 3x . Yeah..that's pretty crazy ....but if Mayhem is increasing it by 20x ...there's a clear difference in absurdity.
The 2 week race was changed to voided, because you have the potential to accumulate 9 and a half months worth of currency from the current Legacy League, in just 14 days of playing. It's a no-brainer as to why they made the decision they did.
