Buff innervate gem support.

15% shock chance from quality, change it from 0.75 to 0.5 then add 0.75 lightning damage increase, even 1.0 wouldn't be too much. Keeping the current shock chance and adding some lightning damage wouldn't be too much to ask either, imo.

Maybe 0.5% Lightning damage per quality + per level, total of 20% at 20/20; as currently the level up added onslaught duration seems also lackluster.

OR; reduce enemy shock threshold 0.5 per quality. Is there even such a thing (could work just like reduced enemy stun threshold obviously)? There could be.

something like- 'can inflict additional shock stack' would sure revive gem and shock builds.

Shock Duration effectively lowers enemy's Shock threshold.

Exactly, also what, shock duration lowers what, no way. O.o

Oh boy, ok i've read it on another post. Yeah shock duration reduces shock threshold a bit, because the math is based upon enough % hp damage of the target to reach a certain minimum duration, which, if you have Inc shock duration, requires less damage. Brilliant, ok ggg got me this time... still, the gem can get some love?

Innervate is kinda cool if you have stuff to kill, but fails versus bosses that have no/close to no adds.

I used it all the time and it gives me 7 seconds of Onslaught most of the time, and helps with the clear speed on my mainly melee dual wielding Dory RT build (I use a Sunder + Lightning Strike to get Fortify + Onslaught each 6-7 seconds and rush to the boss with Static Strike - except for Volatile Enemies/Heralds if pack is very loose where Lightning Strike/Sunder do wonders).

I could also swap it with Added Lightning/Lightning Pen and use a Perseverance if I want more reliable Onslaught versus bosses.

Although a buff would be very, very cool, if one shot mechanics got reworked, I could swap Lightning Strike for another Static Strike and Sunder for Glacial Hammer and truly enjoy an all melee as in "smell the monsters armpits to do damage" build...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Agreed 100% on the on kill stuff, because bosses. Exactly. Hope it changes more and more in the future, specially for curses, etc.

Used it for a bit, but eventually swapped it out for more damage on a crit arc char.

When you need it most your basically running a 5-link and in content where it's not needed its up constantly.

Rework it to "gain onslaught when hitting a shocked enemy" that way you could actually use it on bosses instead of cast speed if your heavily specced in shock.
