Level 21 vs 23% quality corrupted gems

I'm wondering which is better, level 21 or 23% quality for the following gems. It's for a freezing pulse crit witch.


Increased Critical Strikes Support
Cold to Fire Support
Added Cold Damage Support

The wiki can tell you what level 21 gives, vs. what each % of quality gives.

For the gems in question:

Crit Strikes: Level 21 brings you to +2% base crit and (assuming 20q) 110% Increased crit chance. 23% Q gives you +1.9% base crit, and 113% increased critical strike chance. I would prefer the base crit I think.

Cold to Fire: 21/20 gives you 30% of cold damage as extra fire damage, and 10% increased fire and cold damage. 20/23 gives you 29% of cold as extra fire damage and 11.5% increased cold and increased fire damage.

Added Cold: 21/20 gives 137-205 flat added cold, and 10% increased cold damage, where 20/23 gives 125-188 flat added cold, and 11.5% increased cold damage. I would prefer 21/20 again.

Thanks for your reply. So I guess 21/20 gems are best for these. Just wanted to make sure as I bought the wrong one before and it's a bit confusing looking at all the stats and terminology which I'm not too familiar with.

pointless to corrupt support gems which are percentage based. the ones you should corrupt are flat damage gems like added cold. 9% added damage from lvl 20 to 21 is not so bad.
