Thoughts on an Eldritch battery buff

The old "mana tank" playstyle was so easy and annoyance free. Well, not necessarily. If you took successive heavy hits you could find yourself mana less and in trouble.

This new EB is very powerful. It gives the option for full mana reservation. That being said, it's also very annoying.

You need either zealot's oath or essence surge. On the plus side zealoth's oath can be bypassed using that unique sulphur flask. Sometimes, especially in breach, you get swarmed by mobs and essence surge is rendered useless.

Here's a thought..

Spending "es" should not prevent energy shield recharge. The only thing that should stop it, is taking damage, as in the case where you use Mind over matter in combination. Sure at 3k es that means a skill that has a 100 mana cost is a non issue, but consider this, with old eb at 3/4k mana, mana cost was not an issue either.
