Getting discount on the next purchase

I heard something about , getting a discount on your next purchase , after you buy points.
So my question is , would the discount apply on my next purchase after i bought a supporters pack instead of just buying points. And if so how much of a discount would i get? Can someone elaborate more on that topic. Thanks. Last bumped on Dec 10, 2016, 2:57:31 PM

How it works is that any points packs you buy in a given time period can be "applied" to the cost of a supporter pack, up to 80% of the cost of the supporter pack. Meaning that if you buy 100$ worth of points, and there is a 100$ supporter pack you want, you can get the supporter pack for $20. If you do this "upgrade" supporter pack option, you will not get the additional points that would correspond to the 80%.
