Will Cast While Channelling work with totems?

Really hoping it will, but feel like that might not be the case. I think it would open up some nice builds if it does work with totems.

Even if it did, it'd be pretty bad with spell totem as the patch notes say:
Totems: When linked to Spell Totem, the totem stops channeling automatically at max stacks. Edit: Actually I think that stop channeling update was specifically for flameblast totems, so.. not sure! ~Myth Last edited by Mythkiller#1811 on Nov 29, 2016, 5:35:26 AM

" Not...really? At that point you're going [Channel skill] > Spell Totem > CWC > [Spell]. You've eaten an entire 4-link without any supports. That and the reason these set-ups don't work is that the Spell Totem gem has no way of knowing which spell it's supposed to support and which spell it's supposed to let CWC support. The dual trigger thing would likely just disable the whole 4L. She/Her

" This is the correct answer, if GGG is at all consistent with themselves. Trigger Supports have been tested with Totems, and they never work. The answer GGG gave is something along the lines of, the Totem checks its gems, realizes it has none, and does nothing. For example, when you support Curse on Hit with a Spell Totem Spell, the Spell Totem casts the Spell, and reads that the spell is supported by Curse on Hit, which "Supported Spells apply supported Curses on Hit." My gut is telling me it's more of a technical limitation than anything else, though I guess balance plays a part there too?
