How does CoC works - need some help

I have built a crit based build that uses 5-6 power charges. Naturally the build crits a lot more often. Now here is the thing, I want to generate those 3 default frenzy charges via Cast on Crit. what are my options ?? and how can I achieve it ??

Hint: I tried with Blood rage - Cast on Crit - Increased Duration setup, it did not work.

Any help ?? I never played with CoC before....

You need to link cast on crit to an attack *and* to a spell at the same time.

eg: barrage - cast on crit - ice spear.

That way when you crit with barrage, it will cast ice spear.

For your setup, though, you probably don't want CoC. Use Blood Rage just by manually casting it, or link it to Cast when damage taken.

In the mean time I also read things about CoC which allows me to understand the mech.

In other words, it works as a spell based augmentation when my "attacks" crit...
