physical projectile attack damage support?

How does the damage added to the projectile skills? Suppose I am having 100 base physic bow, hatred turns 20% into cold damage. Does PPAD turn the damage to 100*120% + 20*120% =144 or just the 100*120%+20=140 ?

Would be interesting to get this verified.

Also using PPAD + P2L gem combination with let's say physical damage nodes + wed nodes in the three.

Gues it works like "double" all into pyhsical first, then it converts and adds wed.

Conversion occurs before modifiers are accounted for. Converted Damage benefits from modifiers to the source type.

100 Physical Damage becomes 80 Physical and 20 Cold (from Physical).
80 * 1.2 = 96 Physical Damage
20 * 1.2 = 24 Cold Damage

Edit: or 100 * 1.2 = 120 Phys in the case of Damage Based On. Same deal :)

thats not entirely the case. All your increased damage % is added together and then it multiplies your base once, PPAD will then multiply that figure again by itself because its a "more" damage %, not "increased". Sources of increased always add together, sources of more damage are always multipliers by themselves.


Hatred doesnt actually convert damage, it adds extra cold damage based on a % of your phys, so you keep the full amount of physical.
