POE wine version vs vmware/virtualbox/parallels

Anyone played with POE performance of the wine port vs a VM?
The wine version is pretty laggy on a new iMac, but I'm not sure a VM would be any better. Any data here? Last bumped on Jul 2, 2016, 4:34:43 PM
