Chromatic Orb: More Reds And Blues than Greens?

So here's the item I'm talking about:
I used 40 Chromatic Orbs on that item and on 3 of the 40 randomization I got ONE green socket. The rest was all like: 3 Red, 2 Blue; 4 Blue, 1 Red etc. I don't know if I'm the most unlucky guy on the world or if this is intended to be like that. This happened on other items too, getting less of one colour than the other too. Thanks in advance. |

Socket colors are fairly heavily biased to item requirements.

I believe a lot of it has to do with the default item stats....
so for example yours is ARMOR (red) and ENERY SHIELD (blue)... where as if it were pure evasion it would have a better chance of rolling green and so on. ^

also why are you using chroms on that armor o_O

Well, thanks for the help guys.
That really sucks because like everyone is using the most random sockets but they often are set to a specific base stat. I need Armour and Energy the most. But I also need green sockets the most, yeah. :/ |
