WTF: Getting popup's, (from other apps) while playing in fullscreen.

So I was playing the other day, in fullscreen, and Avira wanted to say 'hey, you need to update, blah-blah-blah'.

That's cool, but I was playing HC, fighting, in fullscreen.

Just now, I was playing again, and Steam was like: 'Here's the update notes of our latest patch'.

Again, cool, but not while I'm in the middle of combat.

Both instances, it took me out of game, similar to alt+tabing out, to show me this 'pop-up'.

Normally, when I'm running games in fullscreen, or anything, for that matter, any background apps, stay background, and when I close the fullscreen app, then I'm presented with whatever it was.




Why does background apps, take precedence over PoE when it's in fullscreen?



Is there anyways I can ensure that this does not continue?

Turn off your notifications. Problem solved.

Window Fullscreen / Borderless.

Again, other with other fullscreen apps, this doesn't happen. Why just PoE.

Also, turning notifications off everything is a band-aid a solution.

And borderless window, not an option, because I need to maintain all the performance I can.

This is one aspect of the game that has not been polished up yet it seems. Perhaps you should post this in the suggestions forum so GGG can see.
