nVidia physx for Poe?

Excuse my noob question:

I have Ati Radeon 5770 video card, and yet, some games require and use nVidia physx drivers installed anyway.

Is PoE one of them?
And if yes, what aspects of that technology does PoE use?

Can my Radeon take advantage of this technology?

I have an updated catalyst drivers, and while reinstalling them, I accidentaly unistalled nvidia drivers from my computer.

PoE seems to run as before without them.

What's up?

I wish it had,

I have a gtx 570 fermi and also a gtx 285

would love to leave the 285 for phyx.

PoE does not have a physics engine.
