Glacial Cascade build help

Hi guys, I've always loved the look of glacial cascade and with the changes that came with The Awakening I think this skill would be so much fun to play but the question is, is it hc viable? I'm still figuring out the Skill gem links but something like Glacial cascade + Spell echo + Inc aoe + some added dmg? .....

Still unsure about the pathing towards EB, I do think I want snowforge, and it gives me the right path to written in blood/ Shadow trees. Still not sure though and would love some input.
