How to pause download to resume later?

I started downloading the game after 1 GB my internet got disconnected for few seconds I started download again all 1 GB data got deleted and started downloading from beginning.

Is there any way to pause or stop download to resume later as game is more than 5 GB?

That would be good to know because I've found the lack of control with the download client to be slightly aggravating.

You just close the client, it will start from where it left off. It won't look like it because the counter will start from 0% again, but it means 0% of what is left to download, not of the original amount (you can check this is happening by paying attention to the amount left to download).

The only downside to doing that is that it will still take ages "checking resources" each time you restart the downloader.

The patcher does actually keep what you've already downloaded. For example, if you closed the patcher when it was at 2gb out of 5gb, when you restart the patcher, it will start at 0% of the remaining 3gb.

Just close the client.
It will pick up where it left off the next time you start it up.

Say there's 1gb total. You get to 50% of 1gb (500mb) and close the process (or your machine loses power, or whatever).
The next time you start it up, it will start at 0% of 500mb (the other half that was remaining).

i got the same prob is it same as of today? cant notice cause im still downloading it now and 50mb cant change the difference anyone? just making sure
