[Solved] Can't get to ebony barracks

I've been trying for a while now and it just kicks me back to the login screen every time. I can load any other zone just fine...I've even tried new instances which didn't help.
Sometimes this also happens to me on certain maps like mountain ledge and shipyard. I understand sometimes my connection isn't the smoothest but this is only happening in certain zones. Anything you guys/gals can do to help or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :) Edit: not sure if it matters but this is happening in Cruel. Just a lowly standard player. is it crashing, or what is it doing?
any error messages? stand-alone or Steam client? |

What happens if you Ctrl+click on the waypoint and choose a new instance?
Do you have any antivirus/firewall/security software it hardware which could be interfering with the connection? Is it possible to disable them completely for testing? |

This was happening while going thru the transition from Sewer Waterway to the Barracks. First I tried Ctrl+click on the door to barracks 2 or 3 times, then tried new instances of Sewer a few times and got the same result. I then had a guildie tp me to the wp but that gave a dc also.
I don't have anything running in the background when I play PoE. I'm gonna try again on my other computer and see if that helps, but it's been a problem for a while now on both. And it's only certain areas. :/ Thanks for your help. Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

So I waited a few hours and tried again and got it. Now I'm in merc with the same problem. :(
Can't get to ebony barracks. Any ideas? Edit: Not trying to be rude but does posting here actually get any response from someone who actually works at GGG? Or would something like this be better dealt with thru email? Edit 2: Can't get WinMTR to work at all on either computer is there anything else I can run for this? Just a lowly standard player. What do you mean when you say winmtr doesn't work? Error messages?
Are you using broken 0.8 or working 0.92? As for support, this is mainly user to user support. GGG does sometimes help here, but the majority of support here is users. Also, GGG aren't likely to tell you anything different than the answers you're getting here. Since you're using stand-alone, have you tried running the ggpk defrag application linked in the Consolidated Technical sticky post followed by PackCheck? No but I'm sure they would have actually read my OP as you clearly didn't...as evidenced by your second response.
I downloaded the newest version of WinMTR and it will not run on either one of my computers. No error message, it just doesn't connect to anything. Edit: Running ggpk defrag seems to have fixed it. No actually a guildie searched for a solution before you replied and I was in the process of the defrag when you posted. I don't remember seeing the part about the defrag before you edited.
It's not that I wasn't happy with you, you watch a failing loading screen for an hour or better and then tell me how much patience you have left. I had just got a mjolner and was rushing to play with it before it gets nerfed. :P Regardless of how I came across I do appreciate your efforts. Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.
