FPS drops after last patch?

Before last patch i was running steady 60 fps anywhere in the game. zero fps drops

after this last patch i am running 10 fps everywhere. just standing in a city 10 fps even with all graphics settings on lowest.

My Computer-

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Ram: 8gb
Video Card: Nvidia 460m

yes this is a dedicated card and it is turned on for POE.

Help?
I'm having the same issue with a GTX 460. I had over 100 fps pre-patch with no vsync and now I'm getting 8 fps on the log in screen.

CPU: Intel i7-930
RAM: 4 gb
GPU: GTX 460

GGG if this is a problem on your end please respond.
This seems to happen to me as well, but hmm I think client's loading time is getting slower and slower.

That's awkward, I haven't noticed this kind of problem myself o.O. I have NVIDIA 460GTX also btw.
I have only seen critical FPS drops when I see text or linked items to chat. That's why I gotta hide my chat ;___; :anti-social:
Surprised by new patch's negative impact to FPS:

Have not played for about a week, so just downloaded new patch 10.1 I think. Pre-patch update I was running ~60 FPS with max settings running on 3 screens at 5700x1200. Now with the new patch and the same settings running at ~6 FPS.

Oper. Sys. Win-7, Pro
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4 GHz
Motherboard: ASRock Z68 Professional Gen3
Chipset: Intel Z68 (Cougar Point) [B3]
Memory: 16384 MBytes @ 799 MHz, 11.0-11-11-28
Graphics: Two nVidia GeForce GTX 580 running in SLI mode

video cards use to max out around 72°C @60 FPS now they run at 42° @6 FPS.
It seems to me that the latest patch broke something with regards to utilizing the SLI video mode. The game isn't taxing either video board. The graphics cards seem to just be idling with the same settings as before patch. I can dumb down all the video setting to get the FPS up to about 20 but then the game doesn't have much visual appeal anymore and the temp still sits around ~42°C. As far as I'm concerned, the latest patch has something a miss with regards to utilizing the nVidia graphics cards or video drivers. Until this gets fixed I don't see any point in play the game.
Omg! The same thing is happening to me . My FPS just Tanks most of the time. Especially in Group. It use to never be like that.. even if i go to lower resolution FPS and lower graphics FPS still tanks. After the patch is when all this begun. GGG you guys have done a great job ,but could this be fixed.;)

The process of installing the latest (Jan. 2013) released nVidia video drives fixed the low FPS issue for me. My old drivers were the previous release, so not like I was running really old drivers. Oh well, bottomline is the game is back to 60FPS @ 5760x1200 :)
I too have noticed a framerate drop since the patch, but nowhere near as significant as yours. Where I was always at 60 fps pre-patch, I now drop down to 30 at times during combat, where before it rarely dropped below 50. Sorry to hear your fps is so low. Good luck fixing the problem.
