[1.3][BL/HC] Static Strike Block Marauder - Atziri on a budget.

Hello dear readers,
this is my first guide on one of my characters on the forums after having played the game for quite a long time. It’s a melee build utilizing Static Strike for single and multitarget purposes. I created this build with a simple goal in mind: Kill Atziri in a Hardcore League with a decent budget (<5 Exalts). The final version I ended up using surpassed this goal a small bit, but only because I opted to use a Bringer of Rain, which is an OPTIONAL item choice. Pros: + Very tanky (5,9k HP) + Good Block Chance (60% Attacks, 45% Spells (Lioneye's Remorse) / 0% Attacks , 75% Spells (Saffel's Frame)) + ~10k Armour + Decent RT DPS for a 1h Char (about 28.000 in hideout without Flask up) + 6% Life Regeneration + 6 Endurance Charges + Duration Immortal Call + Easy to play (Run up to mobs and hit them very hard!) + Cheap + OPTIONAL: Double Curse (For Safety or offensive purposes, depending on your playstyle, league and goal) Cons: - Chaos damage CAN hurt, you need to be very aware of that and use your Flask: - Runs no CWDT in the Bringer Setup (might be helpful if GGG removes EC from CWDT anyway) so it requires a bit of foresight - Has complicated Intelligence / Dexterity Requirements to fulfill your gem’s needs - Is too much fun to play? :) Onto the meat of the build: EcStaticFeeling (Level 87 Marauder) Tree and Gear

Leap Slam + Immortal Call + Increased Duration
Optional 4L if you do not use Bringer of Rain
CWDT + Enduring Cry + Increased Duration + Immortal Call in your helmet and your attack in your chestpiece and edit the Misc Setup to Leap Slam + Increased Duration + Vaal Haste

I picked the Shield nodes up first, because I loved the extra Resistances those give at the Start of Merciless! Always look out for Life! Gear Recommended: At around Level 50-55, Mightflay falls off in terms of damage a bit (I was rocking about 5k DPS with it and a Tabula Rasa...), so look for a 250-300 DPS 1h weapon in your league. This one without the craft cost me 4c on Bloodlines and carried me safely to Level 70 Maps.

You can of course exchange them for any other weapon type you prefer. --- Bandit Choices: Normal - Oak (40 HP yay) Cruel - Oak (18% Physical Damage to scale Static Strike’s single target and AoE efficiency) Merciless - Oak (+1 Endurance Charge, what’s not to like?) / Skill Point is also an Option. --- Success I enjoyed so far: - Killing Atziri on Bloodlines (for my first time ever!) - Facetanking “Abaxoth, End of all that is” on multiple occasions for 3-4 Man Parties - Killing every boss in every map I’ve been to, also Zana Dailies, except for Torture Chamber, where I am too much of a coward :) --- Questions? I`m using Rathpith Globe for all-time and have 68/75% block chance. Have killed Atziri with no problem first time yesterday ^^

" Thanks, that's quite impressive. I myself dont fulfill the Intelligence Requirements for Rathpith nor do i have a Legacy Bringer of Rain in a Hardcore Challenge League. " @Abaxoth: yes, straight facetanking. @Aegis Aurora: I tried it before Lioneyes, but you cant really use the core upside (ES Regen) cause the Armour you have is way too low, so i decided against it.
